Nova is a Liverpool-based venture builder, launched in 2009. We partner with entrepreneurs to turn ideas into successful, scalable tech startups, in sectors including health tech, fintech, and edtech. We iteratively design and develop products that will work at a web scale on any device delivering an exceptional experience to their end-user.

We have openings at our Islamabad office for Full Stack Developer to join our fast growing and fast-paced international organization.

About the Role:

As a Full Stack Developer , you will be responsible for implementing creative and innovative solutions using modern technologies and techniques. Your job includes working closely with Product Management to understand and clarify requirements, working closely with our team to get proposals from a technical feasibility perspective, and adding creative influence to simplify, enhance, and impact our customers. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of a wide range of applications and environments. You will work closely with the entire engineering team to execute on major deliverables.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 2-3 years of overall software development experience

 Requirements

• Experience in React and JavaScript application development
• Creating RESTful services with Node.js
• Understanding & proficiency in REST APIs.
• Ability to translate Wireframes and PSD Designs into functional web apps.
• Binding of UI elements to JavaScript object models
• Proven experience in front & back-end development
• Write code that is cross-platform and cross-device compatible
• Experience with Git Repository and Jira.
• Experience with Databases (MySql/Mongo)
• Strong understanding of SOLID Design principles.
• Understanding of builds and deployments of web apps, APIs
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Good to have:

• Experience in mobile frameworks having primary focus on React Native (Best to have past experience in Android and/or iOS Native)
• Ability to create Unit and Integration tests to ensure the quality of code
• Ability to implementation of security and data protection
• Understanding of performance testing and optimization techniques
