Purpose: The Facility & IT Manager should have sound management and administration experience, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to mobilize people and plan the activities in advance. Knowledge of building maintenance procedures, environment, health and safety. In addition, the person should have knowledge of procurement and should be well versed in latest trends and developments in the IT and Technology Fields especially in network and basic IT infrastructure including LAN/WAN.

Experience in technical support, problem solving, and general management skills is required. Reporting and documentation skills would be an added advantage.

Job description:

·         Managing and liaising with the administration staff and contracting agencies;

·         Overall facility security management including managing security guards, duty roster and allied activities;

·         Management, Administration and coordination for all resources associated with facility, security, cafeteria and administrative staff;

·         Contract management with vendors and associated staff for delivery of services and goods;

·         Planning for space and resource allocation in order to sustain effective operations;

·         Event coordination and management with suppliers, customers and other internal/external stakeholders;

·         Providing first aid assistance to staff and contacting the emergency services in case of any assistance;

·         Coordination with Finance Team for invoice generation and billing collection against the usage of NIC facilities;

·         Management of office systems and associated infrastructure;

·         Technical Knowledge of Building management, services and infrastructure including Electrical, Civil and Mechanical Works;

·         Identify and manage the technology infrastructure requirements of the NIC;

·         Manage and Administer Users and Email Services of Teamup & NIC;

·         Recommendation and managing the information technology strategies, policies and requirements for the staff;

·         End user support where applicable by providing the necessary advice or help as required;

·         Managing of IT operations and associated equipment deployed at the NIC;

·         Evaluation of end user needs and suggesting possible solutions for implementation

·         Managing the online repository for NIC;

·         Basic Budget estimates and planning to ensure cost effective operations;

·         Liaison with technical partners and teams for implementing and maintaining the IT Infrastructure and services;

·         Management and coordination for support of the internet services as well as the LAN / WAN deployed at the NIC

·         Management, Administration and support of the Virtual PABX including physical voice services at the NIC;

·         Coordination and interaction with respective webhosting service providers, social media and webpages for the NIC;

·         Management and interface between end user and website maintenance services and its requirement/administration;

·         Interaction and coordination with technology service providers for deploying and addressing new requirements for the NIC;
