Job Description: |
As a Shift Manager cover a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation and success of the establishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure restaurant readiness before opening for customers using manager walk.
- Directly supervise team members during assigned shifts and also assign duties to the shift staff.
- Conduct table follow-up to make sure customers are having a good experience.
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently during his shift.
- Make sure to adhere to opening and closing SOPs.Motivate and encourage team members to maintain high levels of performance.
- Ensure staff grooming during his shift (FOH, BOH, and Delivery).
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations during the shift.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct pre-shift briefing with staff during his shift.
- Monitor food preparation, quality, and presentation to meet customer expectations.
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during the shift promptly and effectively.
- Ensure speed of services during his shift.
- Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
- Coordinate with RGM regarding Repair & Maintenance issues.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Coach staff on customer service best practices and ensure they are followed.
- Assist in training new team members and ensure they are familiar with procedures.
- Coordinate with the RGM to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Minimize waste and control costs related to inventory management.
- Receive and store supplies effectively during shift.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and address them promptly.
- Coach staff on proper food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices.
- Conduct team member observations and provide feedback to make improvements.
