Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for the full operational and strategic oversight of our manufacturing facility. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, drive performance across key metrics, ensure global export compliance, and implement lean manufacturing systems to support sustainable growth and world-class output to meet growing demand of our products. The successful candidate will have proven track record, be detail-focused, and comfortable managing across production, logistics, HR, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of factory operations, including production, maintenance, quality, logistics, HR, and administration - Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize workflow, eliminate waste, and reduce production costs while maintaining product excellence
• Ensure full export compliance, including customs documentation, labeling, material traceability, and conformance with destination country standards 
• Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs across all departments – including output, efficiency, quality, on-time delivery, and cost per unit
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance of the facility 
• Implement and monitor a robust quality control system to meet international sport governing bodies’ requirements 
• Maintain strict compliance with OH&S regulations, labor laws, and third-party audit standards (e.g. SMETA, BSCI) - Lead, train, and evaluate staff to ensure peak performance and continuous improvement
• Coordinate with the import, logistics, and product development teams to align production capacity with market demand and contract fulfillment
• Prepare reports and present operational performance, risks, and improvement plans directly to the CEO 
• Represent the factory during client audits, inspections, or certification reviews

Key Requirements

• Minimum 10 years in a senior manufacturing management role, ideally in sporting goods, gloves, textiles, or leather products
• Strong track record in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
• Deep knowledge of export regulations, customs processes, and international shipping standards
• Proven experience managing factory compliance with international safety, labor, and audit frameworks 
• Demonstrated ability to manage KPIs, improve factory efficiency, and lead high-performance teams
• Strong business acumen with financial oversight experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills 
• Proficiency in ERP systems, production tracking tools, and Microsoft Office 
• Bachelor\\\'s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Business (preferred but not essential)
