| Job Description: |
Safety Officer job is available in Lahore for a leading manufacturing company. An ideal candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field along with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in implementing safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, and promoting workplace safety within an industrial or manufacturing environment. NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification preferred.
Safety Officer job role is to ensure a safe and compliant working environment by implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, identifying and mitigating workplace hazards, conducting safety inspections and training.
Job Responsibilities:

Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations. Implement and enforce company HSE policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans.

Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits. Identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and practices; recommend corrective actions.

Training and Awareness: Conduct safety induction and toolbox talk for all workers and new employees. Arrange and participate in safety training sessions, drills, and awareness programs.

Incident Management: Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses. Maintain incident logs and ensure corrective/preventive measures are implemented.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date safety records, inspection reports, and checklists. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly HSE reports for management.

PPE and Equipment: Ensure availability and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Inspect tools, equipment, and machinery for safe operation.

Emergency Preparedness: Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans. Conduct fire drills and ensure emergency exits and equipment are functional.
